1. Industry Experience:
I have been working in restaurants for 34 years! I started when I was 13 bussing tables. I have worked in every capacity except for bartending, I never got the hang of that. My family and I started River City Brewing Co. here in Sacramento and that was an experience I will never forget.
2. Why did you join the Zocalo family?
An attraction to the building… it is beautiful. I actually bought a rug here when it was carpet store maybe 12 years ago. And even then I was looking around and thought that it would make a beautiful restaurant.
3. Favorite food:
I really do not have a favorite, I think it depends on my mood, the weather, what is in season….
4. Favorite drink:
COFFEE!
5. What do you like to do in your spare time?
Spare time? Haha just kidding! I love to talk to and be with my kids, they amaze me. I wish I had more time to garden.
6. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Italy! And not come back!
7. What can you not live without?
Love sweet love…. and coffee.
8. Hobbies that you love:
I like to try to garden, and I love a good book!
9. Most memorable past time:
Just watching my kids grow up, it is the most awesome, humbling thing in the world.
