Tlaquepaque pueblito Lugar de Alfareros

The first time I went to eat at Zocalo, my eyes catch the true artisan/style from Mexico and the poems that are behind every pottery. Now, I been working for the company for almost 3 years and half, and the most popular question that costumers made is where do we get our decorations? I born in Guadalajara, Jalisco and all my family are from San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jalisco; I found out that every single decoration we have in the restaurant is from the artist Ernesto Cruz who design the fantastic and elegant restaurant. Cruz is from Tlaquepaque and he has an art shop in “El Parian” Tlaquepaque, the most popular creativities he has are the hearts.

Tlaquepaque Pueblito is a magic place to found all kind of decorations; my great-grandfather used to have a small art shop, but nothing compare with Cruz style.A love poem in a vase pottery make it really bohemic

A love poem in a vase pottery creates a really bohemic sense.

  3. Does Ernesto Cruz and his wife still have their shop in Tlaquepaque? If so, is there any contact info for him? Thanks. RB
